Les Sybelles was created in 2003 through the linking of six historic Maurienne resorts, which until then operated independently. The ski connection is made via several passes and the Pointe du Corbier, which serves as the central hub.

La Toussuire: the main gateway

La Toussuire is one of the historic resorts in the domain, at 1750m, with welcoming village architecture. It is the most convenient access point to Les Sybelles from lower Maurienne (Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, 30 minutes away).

The village is quiet, predominantly family-oriented, with a consistent though modest selection of shops and restaurants. Several facilities (Aquariaz, ice rink) complement the skiing.
