1. Preamble

This privacy policy is intended to inform users of the website www.aec-collection.com (hereinafter the “Site”) of the manner in which their personal data are collected, processed and protected by AEC Collection, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU Regulation 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act.

AEC Collection may collect all or some of the following data:

Contact details: postal address, email, telephone number
Navigation data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, browsing duration

Personal data are collected for the following purposes:

Responding to requests submitted via the contact form

Data are shared with AEC Collection’s internal teams and, where necessary, with technical service providers (hosting provider, email service provider) who are contractually bound by confidentiality and data security obligations.

To protect its forms against automated submissions, the Site uses the Cloudflare Turnstile service, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. When a form is submitted, this service analyses technical signals from the browser (IP address, browser and interaction characteristics) in order to tell a visitor from a bot. This data is processed by Cloudflare for that sole purpose, on the basis of AEC Collection’s legitimate interest in securing its forms, and is not used for advertising. 7. Retention period

Data are retained for:

3 years from the last contact for prospects
6 years from the last order for customers (tax and accounting obligations)
13 months for cookie data

8. User rights

In accordance with applicable legislation, you have the following rights:

Right of access to your data
Right of rectification
Right to erasure
Right to object and withdraw consent
Right to data portability
Right to post-mortem instructions regarding your data

You may exercise these rights by sending an email to sales@aec-collection.com. If there is doubt as to the validity of your request, proof of identity may be required.

AEC Collection implements all appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against any loss, alteration or unauthorised access.
