Chalet Blessey
12-person chalet with sauna in Champagny
The chalet is a large traditional house of 500 m² of living space spread over three levels, accommodating 12 people. Located in Champagny en Tarentaise, in the Villard Dessous hamlet below the village church, it commands a first-line position on a quiet alpine meadow with direct views of the Vanoise peaks and diagonal access to Courchevel’s slopes towards the south-west.
Built in local stone, the chalet underwent complete restoration and renovation between 2019 and 2022. The north façade retains the original sandblasted stone wall; the other façades combine restored stone with generous glazed openings and south-facing balconies, capturing sunlight throughout the day.
The property includes a sauna, hammam, private balconies, a barbecue area, a fitted bar and unobstructed mountain views. These amenities provide relaxation and sociability, particularly for groups.
This chalet suits large families and groups of friends seeking space, integrated wellness facilities and a peaceful base facing the Alps. The south-facing aspect, generous proportions and first-line position on the alpage constitute its principal assets.
Champagny, an authentic small village in Tarentaise, provides access to the Courchevel domain and its 600 kilometres of slopes. The preserved mountain setting, combined with proximity to the world’s largest ski area, makes it an ideal destination for combining quiet mountain surroundings with alpine activities.
