8-person chalet with swimming pool in Val d'Isère

In the heart of the old village of Val d’Isère, 50 metres from the church, this chalet occupies the site of a 17th century farmhouse. The slopes and ski lifts are 100 metres away, as are the shopping streets where shops, restaurants and ski hire companies are concentrated. A free shuttle serves the nearby resort.

The small openings typical of the original architecture allow soft light to filter into an interior where old beams and stone tell the history of the building. The living room, under a cathedral ceiling, is organised around a large open fireplace, supplied with wood for the entire stay. A mezzanine extends this space with a television lounge equipped with Bose sound system, suitable for après-ski evenings.

The bedrooms are distributed between the first floor and a semi-basement level, each with its own television and en-suite bathroom. Two of them have a double bed, a third has 2 twin beds and the last, in a cabin, has 2 bunk beds. This layout makes it possible to accommodate up to 8 people in independent spaces.

The semi-basement ground floor also houses a ski room with boot warmers and an equipped laundry room, practical on return from the slopes. A small south-facing terrace and garden provide an outdoor extension to this characterful property, whilst 2 outdoor parking spaces facilitate arrival by car.
