Chalet near the slopes, Val d'Isère

This independent chalet stands in the heart of the old village of Val d’Isère, within the maze of pedestrian streets of the resort. The slopes and ski lifts are accessible at 100 metres, whilst shops, restaurants and ski rental services are just 50 metres away. The free shuttle serving the resort passes in the immediate vicinity.

Built over 3 levels with a surface area of 137m2, the chalet retains the charm of authentic mountain architecture. A south-facing balcony opens onto the surrounding peaks, the ideal moment to enjoy the sun on return from the slopes. A heated garage faces the chalet, a comfort appreciated on snowy days, and a ski room is located in the basement.

On the upper floor, the living space surprises with its almost cathedral-like ceiling height, which gives the sitting room an unusual amplitude for this type of chalet. The stone fireplace, around which the dining space is organised, invites evenings by the fire, with wood provided. The open kitchen, fully equipped, allows meals to be prepared without separating from the rest of the group.

The chalet has 4 bedrooms spread across the different levels, able to accommodate 8 to 10 people. One of them, partly under the attic and accessible by a steep staircase and a trapdoor, is reserved for adults. The bathrooms are separate, with a bath and double washbasin on one side, a shower room on the other.

This setting suits an extended family or a group of friends seeking the atmosphere of a true Savoyard chalet, without forgoing modern comfort. Bed linen and towels are provided, beds made on arrival, and end of stay cleaning is included. Wifi, washing machine and tumble dryer complete a stay designed to remain simple, as close as possible to the village and the slopes.
