Your private hotel in the heart of La Clusaz, the most typical village in the Alps. Facing the church steeple and the Aravis range, this is probably the most beautiful chalet in the massif. A former Savoyard farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, it has been entirely rebuilt with respect for its history: old wood weathered by time, stone walls and generous volumes. Spread over 680m2, it welcomes up to 14 guests in understated luxury, with the privacy of a home and the facilities of a grand hotel, all to yourselves.

Everything here is within walking distance. The village restaurants, bars and shops are a few minutes away: walk out for dinner, stop for a drink and stroll back home. The Patinoire and Beauregard gondolas leave 100m from the door. The chalet is ski-in ski-out: in the morning you head straight onto the slopes, and in the evening you ski home down the Cœur du Village run to end the day by the fire. In summer, the Aravis trails start from the same spot, and Lake Annecy is only about 40 minutes away by car.

The view is the signature of the house. From the large panoramic terrace, furnished for lunch as well as aperitifs, the eye travels from the steeple across the village rooftops to the Aravis ridge, dusted with snow in winter, green and rocky in summer. Several bedrooms open onto balconies, and even the pool looks out over the village through a wide picture window.

Inside, every material has been chosen with care: old wood, stone, veined marble, copper fittings, sculpted basins and designer lighting. The living room is arranged around a suspended central fireplace crowned by a gilded sculpture, with wide sofas where everyone gathers after skiing. The kitchen, in raw wood and matt black, opens around a large island facing the village, while the dining room brings the whole party together around a long oval table and doubles as a meeting room thanks to its projection screen. A bar with a shimmering counter and a glazed wine cellar draw the evenings out.

The spa area is one of the great moments of any stay. The heated indoor pool runs along a stone wall and a metal sculpture, its loungers turned towards the view. Around it, a marble hammam, a light wood sauna and a massage room invite you to make the day last a little longer. A fully equipped gym, a cinema room and a playroom for children complete the picture, and outside, on the garden side, a jacuzzi awaits starlit evenings.

The 7 bedrooms, all served by a lift, each have their own bathroom. Double or twin beds as required, mountain frescoes painted on wood, walk-in showers and soft bathrobes: the same refinement runs throughout. Two of them lie beneath a glass roof, open to the sky.

The chalet has a ski room and a covered garage for 7 cars. Final cleaning, a midweek towel change and a welcome hamper are included, and a private chef, butler, driver, massages or daily housekeeping can be arranged to make this stay truly unique.
