9 bedroom chalet with a swimming pool in Morzine

This chalet occupies a rare position in the heart of the village square of Montriond, within the Morzine ski domain. The village offers a few shops, two bars and a restaurant, and a short road leads to the bustling centre of Morzine for more shops and restaurants. The Ardent chairlift, 10 minutes’ drive away, opens directly onto the Portes du Soleil region, and the journey passes the Montriond lake, suitable for swimming in summer.

This 18th century townhouse has been restored with local craftspeople to preserve its character whilst giving it new life. The top floor unfolds as an immense open space under exposed beams, divided between a living room, a library and a bar organised around two fireplaces. The seating in the living room faces views over the Nantaux peak, and a billiard table and a balcony overlooking the square complete this living space.

At the centre of the building, a private spa is organised around an L-shaped swimming pool with massage zones, a circulation jet and two fountains. There is also an indoor and outdoor hot tub, a mosaic hammam, a yoga studio and a massage room. The wine cellar, with its glass floor suspended above the pool, completes this ensemble and is suited equally to dinner or morning coffee.

The 8 bedrooms each have their own en suite bathroom, distributed between the main house and the adjoining residence, with a bunk bedroom for younger guests. The capacity of 16 people and the presence of a garage make this a property designed for large groups or extended families wishing to share an alpine stay without compromise on space or comfort.
