4 bedroom chalet with a jacuzzi in Val-d'Isère

On the sunny hillside of Crêt, a private hamlet in Val-d’Isère, this chalet enjoys rare peace and quiet while remaining close to the bustle of the village. The village centre, with its shops, restaurants and après-ski bars, is reached in 15 minutes on foot or via the bus stop situated directly in front of the property. A private shuttle ensures daily journeys to the slopes in the morning and return in the late afternoon, a valuable service when snow has tired the legs.

The interior marries traditional mountain spirit with more contemporary touches. A large stone fireplace and solid oak flooring establish a warm atmosphere from the outset, while the furniture alternates between period pieces and design lines. Across its 200m2, the chalet deploys its volumes generously, from the welcoming ground floor to the floors dedicated to rest.

Entry is via a two-space garage then through a cloakroom designed for ski equipment, including heated boot racks, which avoids cluttering the living spaces. The living room, open onto the dining room, is organised around the fireplace and deep sofas, a natural invitation to extend the evening with a glass in hand. The terrace which extends it offers a clear view over the ski domain, and the kitchen, clad in wood and granite, is equipped to prepare meals during the stay without constraint.

The bedrooms are spread over two levels. Three of them occupy the first floor, each with its own ensuite bathroom, two with twin beds and one with a double bed. The main suite, on the ground floor, is distinguished by its king size bed, its independent fireplace, its spacious dressing room and its bathroom with two basins, a sensible choice for occupants wishing for some distance from the rest of the group.

A cinema room allows the day to be closed with a film, and can if necessary accommodate 2 single beds to bring the chalet’s capacity to 10 people. The indoor and outdoor hot tub completes this set designed for recovery after skiing. This layout is particularly suited to an extended family or a group of friends seeking space, comfort and some privacy for each.
